VidForYou (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the website vidforyou.net, a free online tool that allows users to look up and download publicly available video content from supported third-party platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, Pinterest, Vimeo, Twitch, Kick, and Dailymotion.

By accessing or using VidForYou, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors and users of vidforyou.net.

VidForYou is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the service to:

• ✓Download publicly available videos for personal offline viewing.
• ✓Save content you have the right to download — for example, your own uploads or content explicitly licensed for redistribution by its creator.

• ✕Using the service in any way that violates the Terms of Service of the source platform (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
• ✕Accessing our API endpoints without authorisation or in a manner that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• ✕Using automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to make bulk requests to vidforyou.net without a valid API plan.
• ✕Downloading content depicting minors in a sexual context, or any content that is illegal under applicable law.
• ✕Using the service to harass, defame, or harm any individual or organisation.

We reserve the right to block access to any user or IP address that we reasonably believe is using the service in violation of these terms or applicable law.

VidForYou does not host, store, or cache any video content. We act solely as a technical intermediary: when you submit a URL, our service fetches metadata and streams the content directly from the source platform's CDN to your device. We do not maintain a library of downloaded videos.

If you are a copyright owner and believe that content accessible through our service infringes your rights, please send a written notice to contact@vidforyou.net or use our contact form. Your notice must include:

• The URL of the content in question
• Your contact information and a statement of ownership
• A description of the copyrighted work being infringed
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf

We will review all valid notices and respond in good faith. Because we do not host content, we may forward your notice to the original platform where the content is hosted.

VidForYou is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
• The service will successfully download any particular video — source platforms frequently change their APIs, and some content may be geo-restricted, private, or otherwise inaccessible
• The downloaded files will be free from defects or suitable for any particular purpose
• The service will remain free or retain its current feature set — we may change, limit, or discontinue the service at any time without notice

Your use of VidForYou is entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you download complies with the laws of your jurisdiction and the terms of the source platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VidForYou and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Since VidForYou is free to use, this amount is zero in most cases.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

VidForYou interfaces with third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, Pinterest, Vimeo, Twitch, Kick, Dailymotion) to retrieve publicly available content. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms.

Each source platform has its own Terms of Service. By using VidForYou to download content from a platform, you remain independently responsible for complying with that platform's terms. We do not accept responsibility for any consequences arising from your interaction with third-party platforms.

Our site may also display affiliate links and advertisements from third-party networks. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party websites or services.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or for other reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of VidForYou after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the service.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
