Desktop / Browser

1. 1Go to Pinterest.com and click on the video pin you want to save to open it on its own page.
2. 2Copy the URL from your browser address bar. It should look like pinterest.com/pin/1234567890. Short pin.it links also work.
3. 3Paste the URL into the download box at the top of this page and click Download.
4. 4The MP4 file will save to your computer's Downloads folder.

Mobile (iPhone & Android)

1. 1Open the Pinterest app and tap the video pin you want to download.
2. 2Tap the Share button (usually a curved arrow) and choose Copy link.
3. 3Open Safari on iPhone (or Chrome on Android) and go to vidforyou.net.
4. 4Paste the pin URL and tap Download.
5. 5iPhone: once Safari shows the download is complete, tap the arrow icon in the toolbar to find your file, then use Share to save it to Files or Photos. Android: the video saves to your Downloads folder.

• →Both the full pinterest.com/pin/ID URL and short pin.it links work — whichever is easier to copy from where you're browsing.
• →Video pins and Idea Pins with video components are supported. Static image pins cannot be downloaded as video files.
• →If you find a video on Pinterest that came from another site (YouTube, TikTok, etc.), downloading from the original source via VidForYou will usually give better quality than downloading the Pinterest re-encoded version.
